Frequently asked questions

Is this time blindness test a diagnosis?
No. This is a self-reflection tool, not a medical or psychological diagnosis. Time blindness is not an official diagnosis itself — it's a widely used description of difficulties sensing time passing, most often discussed as part of ADHD. If your result shows a strong pattern and it seriously affects your life, talking to a qualified professional about an ADHD assessment is genuinely worth it.
What is time blindness?
Time blindness describes a reduced ability to sense time passing and to estimate how long things take. It's not laziness and not a character flaw — the brain lives in a vivid now, while things that are not now, like an appointment in 90 minutes, barely register. The term was popularized by ADHD researcher Dr. Russell Barkley. Full explanation here.
Is time blindness only an ADHD thing?
Mostly, but not only. Time blindness is usually discussed as part of the executive-function differences that come with ADHD, but sleep deprivation, depression, autism or plain overload can blur the sense of time too.
Is the test really free and anonymous?
Yes. The test runs entirely in your browser: no signup, no email, no cookies, no tracking — nothing you answer is stored or sent anywhere. When you close the page, your answers are gone.
What helps against time blindness?
The strategy behind almost every effective approach is externalizing time: stop relying on your internal clock and make time visible and audible outside your head — visual timers, alarms that carry information, planning backwards from arrival, and automating travel-time math with live traffic. Who's behind this test? We're the small team building Never Too Late, an app that tells you when to leave for appointments — so yes, we have a horse in this race, and we're upfront about it. This page is general information only and not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. If time-related difficulties seriously affect your life, a conversation with a qualified professional is worth far more than any test or app.
